About Our Organization
Shackleford Road Community Service Organization (SRCSO) is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to transforming the Shackleford Road community and surrounding areas in Little Rock, Arkansas. Our mission is to create cleaner, safer, and more connected neighborhoods by organizing roadside litter cleanups, reporting damaged roads and infrastructure, and assisting with community improvement projects. We welcome community volunteers, students seeking service hours, corporate volunteer groups, and individuals completing court-ordered community service.
What sets SRCSO apart is our combination of modern technology and hands-on community service. Through our online Volunteer Hub, participants can apply to volunteer, manage their profiles, view daily assignments, clock in and out, submit reports, and stay informed with organization updates. We provide a professional, organized, and rewarding volunteer experience that empowers people to make a visible difference in their community, whether they want to serve for a single day or become a long-term volunteer.
Our Services
Roadside Litter Cleanup and Beautification
Organize and coordinate community-wide roadside cleanup initiatives to remove litter, improve neighborhood aesthetics, and create a cleaner environment for all residents.
Volunteer Hub and Community Service Management
Provide a centralized online platform where volunteers can apply, manage profiles, view assignments, clock in/out, submit reports, request supplies, and access training resources with secure sign-in and digital communication tools.
Infrastructure Reporting and Community Improvement
Enable community members to report damaged roads, hazards, and infrastructure issues while coordinating volunteer-led community improvement projects and partnerships with local organizations and government agencies.
